The War Memorial was unveiled in September 1922. At that time, the memorial was the largest monument cast in bronze in Canada. The wall of Honour was dedicated in the year 2000 and is the largest municiple memorial in Canada. The Wall of Honour displays the names of all the soldiers in the area who died fighting for their country.
